‘Red Eye’ Clinical Knowledge Summary recommendations *Benign conditions; bacterial, viral & allergic conjunctivitis, episcleritis & subconjunctival haemorrhage.
*More common sight threatening causes of red eye; Keratitis, scleritis, acute glaucoma,
foreign body trauma, chemical burns & orbital cellulitis.
