An excellent opportunity has arisen for a partner or a salaried GP in a practice that is easily accessible from Glasgow via the M77, situated only 40 minutes from the west end and 20 minutes from Newton Mearns. The successful applicant would be joining a friendly and forward thinking team. Ideally we are looking for a six session GP but would be flexible for the right candidate.
We are an experienced and supportive practice of 5 GP partners, 1 salaried GP and 2 ANP’s with a knowledgeable and committed multi-disciplinary team. In addition, the practice has a long history of undergraduate teaching.
We operate from two purpose built sites and have a list size of 8,800 patients. The practice operates with EMIS PCS, Docman Management, Lexacom Dictate and iGPR. The practice is eligible for the Golden Hello scheme under the deprivation conditions which entitles a qualifying GP to a payment of approximately £10,500. Further benefits of joining the practice are listed below-:
- GP partner -7 weeks’ annual leave (including study leave) plus 10 public holidays (pro rata).
- Salaried GP – 6 weeks’ annual leave (plus CPD) plus 10 public holidays (pro rata).
- Medical Defence and Locum Insurance fees paid through practice.
- Manageable workload with excellent work-life balance.
- There is scope for an incoming GP to be involved in future practice development.
