An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partner or Salaried GP in Beith Health Centre. Due to retirement, we are looking for a GP for 6 to 8 sessions over 3 or 4 days. Starting date 3rd December 2018.

We are based in Beith, a town in Ayrshire on the boundary of Renfrewshire, which is within easy commute of Glasgow [Approximately 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport]. We are a progressive GMS practice with great reputation locally, high patient satisfaction scores and were historically a high QOF achievement. This is made possible by excellent forward thinking and a well organized team. We have 3 Partners and 2 Salaried GPs [1 full-time, 4 part-time] 2 Practice Nurses, 3 Health Care Assistants and very friendly reception staff covering a practice population of 6100 patients. In line with NHS Ayrshire and Arran extended hours policy, all calls are received by the practice between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on working days. All calls received outwith these times are handled by NHS24.

* EMIS PCS along with Docman.

* 7 weeks annual leave pro rata for Partner.

* No buy-in is required.

* Full parity from the start.

We are based in a Health Centre owned by Health Board with District Nurses on site and Health Visitors, Podiatrists, Midwife, Community Connector and Community Pharmacists also attached to the practice.

We would like to invite applications from enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious doctors to join the practice working 6 to 8 sessions per week. Your personality and enthusiasm will count the most, so we will consider a salaried GP, salaried with a view to partnership, or a partnership from the outset.

Closing date 31 October 2018
