An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time GP Partner to join our progressive and friendly practice. Partnership will be flexible. Six sessions approximately/negotiable. Start date negotiable. Applications close Thursday 31 October 2019.

The Practice is very well organised, with few house visits per day (avg < 2), and based within purpose-built Health Board rented premises, with no capital ingoing. The Practice is one of two within the Maybole area and serves a mixed rural and urban population, with a current list size of 4,200. The Practice uses EMIS and DOCMAN. Out of Hours Services are covered by NHS 24.

The team consists of three partner General Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, and is supported by attached multidisciplinary staff including, Pharmacist, Community Link Practitioner and Community Psychiatric Nurse. The practice boasts a high standard of staff retention.

Maybole is a rural town 10 minutes south of Ayr in South Ayrshire, with excellent transport links and within commuting distance from Glasgow. You will also find that property prices are more affordable than in other parts of the UK, should you wish to relocate. Local education standards are very high at primary and secondary level, and private education is also available in the area.
