Bourtreehill Medical Practice are seeking a high calibre, experienced Nurse to join our dynamic GP Practice. This is a rarely available and highly sought after opportunity, which encompasses delivering high quality nursing care to our patient population, supporting chronic disease management assessment, treatment and preventive care alongside cervical screening and patient education. Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and willingness to work as part of a team are essential. This wide and varied role is perfect for a highly driven and enthusiastic candidate. Bourtreehill Medical Practice provides support to c.9,200 patients and working as an integral part of the Nursing Team you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our patient population. You will work as a part of a thriving multi-disciplinary medical community including 5 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, GP Trainees (FY2, ST1+ ST3), Medical Students, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 1 General Practice Nurse Prescribers, 1 Healthcare Assistant, 2 CTAC Nurses and 3 Healthcare Support Worker, Pharmacotherapy Team, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Practitioner, Community Link Worker, Smoking Cessation Advisor, Money Matter Advisor, administrative and managerial support team.

Applicants should hold valid NMC registration and be eligible to work in the UK.

The role is offered for up to 37.5 hours per week; however, part-time applications are welcomed. Flexible working patterns can be accommodated, and there may be opportunities to work additional hours, subject to discussion.
