Other Sports and Leisure
Our three local authorities have exceptionally strong strategies for enabling Ayrshire and Arran residents to participate fully in sports and leisure activities of their choice, and indeed the choice is overwhelming for both outdoor and indoor pursuits – too many to list here but you can even join a cricket club! With multiple venues right across the area offering sessions and club arrangements, the facilities will not just more than satisfy the active GP, but will also cater for your families and friends of all ages. Each local authority is also highly mindful of the need to cater wherever possible for those less able to take part in conventional forms of sports, and their own and specific organisation sites are brimming with ways to get involved.
