Closing date 31/7/26

We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our team for long term locum/ salaried position.  If you enjoy good teamwork, supportive colleagues, and a practice that genuinely values work–life balance, we’d love to hear from you.

Tam’s Brig Surgery is a progressive, patient focused practice with a list size of over 7,700 patients. We offer a bespoke service with a balance of pre bookable and same day appointments. Our team is known for being welcoming, supportive and down to earth, and we genuinely enjoy working together.

You would be joining a diverse multidisciplinary team in Tam’s Brig, which includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, CTAC staff, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists, Community Link Worker, Dietician, and Mental Health Practitioners.

As a training practice, we support FY2 doctors, GPST1s, GPST3s and medical students. We encourage a culture of learning and collaboration, with regular team meetings, QI work and PBSGL sessions. We use EMIS and Docman.

We also help cover a rural practice in the village of Dailly. There would be opportunity to work there on a rotational basis if this was of interest.

What we’re offering:
•  6 sessions per week
•  £300 per session for long term locum
•  Max of 25 appointments per day (mix of face to face and telephone)
•  Duty Doctor and Home Visit sessions on a rotational basis
•  Opportunity to be involved with covering the rural dispensing practice of Dailly
•  Protected team coffee and lunch breaks (with a new coffee machine!)
•  Dedicated admin time each session

Please send your CV and covering letter outlining what you can bring to the role to:
