An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a maternity locum here at Frew Terrace Surgery. This will be a 6 session vacancy for a period of 7 months running from 1st February 2026 to 31st August 2026.
We have an established team of seven GP partners, two salaried GPs, two Practice Nurses and a large multi-disciplinary team consisting of CTAC nurses and Healthcare Support Workers, District Nurses, Health Visitors, Pharmacy staff, Community Link Workers, Income Advisor, Physiotherapist and Mental Health Practitioner who provide medical services to just under 12,000 patients. We are based over 2 premises within the town of Irvine making it accessible across Ayrshire or an easy commute from Glasgow.
We are a committed training practice supervising GP trainees and FY2s and are fortunate enough to have retained several trainees and locums as permanent members of staff over the years. We have a great team within the practice who enjoy various social events throughout the year ranging from dog walks along the beach to days out in Glasgow (or even as far afield as Dublin!).
Systems used in the practice include EMIS and DOCMAN.
