Dr Rai’s practice would like to appoint 1 full time or 2 part time Advanced Nurse Practitioner(s) (ANPs) to join our well established practice team. We are located 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow / 10 minutes’ drive from Largs and Greenock. We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated individual(s) to assist our GPs in caring for our circa 4100 practice population.
The role would involve using your expertise to provide support to our GPs in minor illness assessment, telephone triage, prescribing and home visits and providing support to our palliative care patients. The successful candidate(s) will be expected to carry out clinical decision making autonomously, but will have the full support of the GPs and the wider practice team.
The practice team, consists of 2 GPs, Practice Nurse, CTAC nurse, Pharmacists, Practice Manager, Reception/Admin team and are further supported by other multi-disciplinary support teams. This is a permanent position with days/hours and salary rate being negotiable.
