GP Receptionist/Patient Advisor Vacancy (Part Time Temporary Post)

Saltcoats Group Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and committed receptionist to join our modern, forward thinking team on a part time temporary basis.

We are a multidisciplinary practice with around 10,200 patients. We currently have 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner alongside our practice team of 7 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP’s, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and a full complement of attached staff including Pharmacists, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner and Community Link Worker. The ideal candidate will provide an excellent administrative service to support the needs of the practice – specifically working with the Public and assisting in optimizing workflow.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills. I.T. experience would be advantageous and having previously worked in general practice. Knowledge of Emis & Docman is preferred but not essential. Salary commensurate with experience. Initial six month post but continued holiday cover may be available.
