We are seeking a salaried GP for 4 sessions per week or more  to join our friendly, family orientated team in Girvan. We are happy to negotiate a flexible start date and partnership would be an option for the right candidate.

Located in Girvan Community Hospital our modern premises lend themselves to a team approach to general practice in a semi-rural environment in the leafy outskirts of Girvan just 20 minutes drive from Ayr and University Hospital Ayr.

We are an expanding practice of 3 partners, a GPWER, FY2, 2 advanced nurse practitioners and 3 practice nurses supported by a CTAC nurse and HCA, pharmacotherapy team, physiotherapist, MHP and CLP, all working within the building. 2 partners have posts in health-board/HSCP management. The practice provides in hours medical cover to the Minor Injury Unit within the community hospital.

The practice provides opportunities to become involved in education, we are an FY2 training practice and are applying to become a GPST training practice. We also take 3rd to 5th year medical students from Dundee and Glasgow Universities.
